Diana Tabakh is a general dentist who received her dental degree in 1985 and was practicing in Moscow, Russia from 1985-1990. After her family moved to the USA in 1990, she received her second degree from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1995 and practiced in Overland Park from '95 to'99. In October of '99 Dr. Tabakh moved to her current location in Kansas City, Missouri. 

    Her philosophy is to deliver quality dental care, to spend valuable time with her patients, and to make your dental experience as painless and stress-free as possible. The name of Dr. Tabakh’s practice is "Comfort Dental Care"- that is what she and her dedicated dental team are striving for. Comfort in many senses: physical, emotional, flexible hours, to be helped in case of emergency on short notice and after hours, true loving care and much, much more. 

    Dr. Tabakh takes approximately 150 hours of continuing education each year, learning new techniques, materials and skills which help her provide the best and most contemporary treatment for her patients. Dr. Tabakh’s approach is comprehensive, quality care which includes the "Soft Tissue Management Program" to help patients achieve the best results in keeping their gums and bones healthy and to prevent periodontal problems, related to heart problems. 

    Another aspect of her practice is quality restorative treatment with special interest in cosmetic dentistry: tooth-colored fillings, metal-free porcelain crowns, veneers, inlays, teeth whitening and creating healthy, beautiful smiles. 

    As the mother of four children Dr. Tabakh enjoys treating "manageable" kids. She feels that a child’s first impression of dental treatment is very important and will affect future behavior. Her dental team is trying extremely hard to make a child feel comfortable by showing them around and helping them get familiar with instruments and procedures. Early detection and prevention of decay and future orthodontic problems are areas of her concern.

    Dr. Tabakh takes all her time to listen to her patients, explain dental treatments, educate and treat them as members of her family. She is very proud to have an excellent team helping her to take the best care of her patients.
